Try Ultimate Boot Cd for Windows. You need a XP OEM disk to make the .iso. Once you've got it made, XP environment on a CD, no Windows install necessary.
Includes CPU-z, speedfan, Memtest, Prime 95 and about 100 other tools. Should be enough to do what you need.
