I read the comment about the bloatware. Weird, since I bought a W510 4 weeks ago, and W7 was clean as a whistle. And no manual too - and I found the wrapping minimalist, for such a price tag...

I found the same wrapping issue and i even asked them about it and they said their company is trying to go greener and i was like a film cover over the screen is not what i as a customer would give up to go green. Luckily no harm was done over shipping. Honestly when its coming from china i want that thing packed like a package from Ncix lots of bubble wrap yatta yatta.

The thing is the reviews i have seen online showed all the laptops with lots of protective films on both the outside shell and the screen all mine came with was a film on top of the keyboard around the speakers and a soft cloth covering the whole keyboard and to protect the screen.

And a question if i do make a recovery disk from the laptop itself will i be able to install a fresh copy without the bloat ware. Mine came stacked with bloatware. I want to test them out off course to give a fair chance of if some are actually worth it. I tried to get the face recognition to work but it got stuck for a good 5 mins on the scanning so i gave up i will try again tomorow.
