K Gentlemen! Here's a follow up on my somewhat too premature (in Layman's terms: too quick & dumb) overview of this board! Please note that these results are still not final since I have very little time atm.....(Unfortunately my wife had to be hospitalized, she and our future baby boy are going to be fine though and I'm actually writing this post on my break from the hospital)
After editing my first post....erasing some of the negative points (because I found out that it wasn't as bad as I thought), here are some of my findings:
The BIOS is....let's say different from what I'm used to! After getting some handy tips from the guys here(THX
)....I got a lot more settings done the way I wanted them.
The NB is indeed very hot but that is easily solved by adding a quiet fan on it.
The vCore droop that I mentioned, should be compensated by upping the voltages a bit, however I also noticed the RAM voltages to be off a bit. ( More on this when I grab my multimeter)
As for results: I managed to get the CPU running fully Orthos stable(8 hours) at 3.6GHz on
only 1.39V(that is after compensation!!!) Very good in my opinion! My 680i required 1.43V.
My RAM is stable at 1000MHz on 5-4-4-8 timings at only 2.05V! Now that is also incredible! Stock voltage for 1066MHz is 2.2V. Once again....a few more hours of fine-tuning and I'm sure we'll get better results!
I ran 3DM06 on my old and new mobo, same clocks on CPU and GPU.

As you know....the only important score is the CPU score, since Vista & XP use different driver versions for the videocard. Almost a 100 points increase over the 680i! Once again...NOT BAD! Overall a 400 point increase due to the P35 and XP?? I think that's sweet!
Being a nVidia fanboy (I'll admit it okay??) I tought the P35 board was going to be outperformed, since my 680i always performed top notch! Although I haven't had this board that long, I must say, the ease of use, its stability and overclockability are already making this a better board for just one reason. I bought my
P35 for
$ 88 but my 680i costed me
