I think you make a good point. I think you'd have to at least do some sort of averages after playing the same level 4 or 5 times, but I understand what you mean.
The angle of "this is how it plays" vs. "this is how it performs in artificial benchmarks" is an interesting one. I think taking a look at that kind of review as well as the more "traditional" type just helps fill out the type of performance we might see.
