The PC2-9600's use D9GKX chips, which are really desirable.
I'd get this instead:
Canada Computers - Memory > Desktop Memory > DDR2 800 PC2-6400+ : Crucial Ballistix (BL2KIT12864AA804) DDR2 800Mhz CL4-4-4-12 PC2 6400 2GB Kit (1GB x 2) 240-pin .
It's a lot cheaper than buying 4x512mb sticks, but still performs really well.
These Crucial's use the same chips as the PC2-8500 kits (D9GMH), so expect them to perform equally. You can overclock the Ballistix past DDR2-1100 without a problem.
