again, thanks, its aways good to have anothers input.
BTW, most of the heatsinks I use, I machine groove down the center of said heatsink to monitor the CPU case temp mating surface at the heatsink and CPU, then compare the delta temp of the chip die temp to the case. As you can see, I don't mind the extra work
