 Wooden case ??
I actually need a new case and I was thinking about making my own all-wooden case. Did anyone here have done this before ?
I already made my work plan (worklog?), but I still don't know how i'll deal with the backplate. This maybe is the only piece i'dd take from another case. I'll prolly give it a try, but I don't know how i'dd deal with pci slots and MB's I/O's
Since I have some spare pieces I could make this case of, it would keep the price pretty low. (don't wanna spend ~150$+ on a large full-featured case). I'dd try to include dust filters, tooless design, lot of cable management. as silent as possible, and big enough to include a further watercooling loop. (2x 3x120mm rads). How nice it looks, I don't really care as I'll probably hide it somewhere under a to-be-make desk ... but for sure i'll try to make it look decent.
I was wondering if wood wouldn't kind of "keep" the heat inside ?
