I understand.
My issue with any HTPC build is having to balance noise/heat, value & performance. This is why my latest build went with an E5200 (Great overclock possibilities) which when paired with a good quiet video card will still allow satisfying gaming performance, albeit not hardcore. For that I prefer my desktop.
It's all about priorities I guess.
