multitouch patents are too far reaching, and so far noone has actually sued anyone as far as I can tell. Microsoft may or may not have patents but I cannot tell. Palm and Apple have been somewhat arguing the topic but yeah.

Patents in general are becoming far too open ended, multitouch in general I dont see how that can be, seeds, plants, life type thing have no right to be patented. I fail to see how interactions are capable of being patented, be like patenting talking or how to type on a keyboard.
