I had access to a Q6600 G0 for $200.00 shipped, meaning that the value is already pretty low. I'd wait it out until the 45nm stuff comes out, because you'll probably be able to buy a used chip for $160.00ish.
(The price of a new Q6600 will probably remain close to the same, if not, a little less)
