Re-mounting 775 backplate
Hi, I am in the process of replacing my motherboard and I need to move the 775 backplate to the new motherboard. When I removed the backplate from the old board it left behind the foam/tape that was used to mount it. I can replace the foam with paper or rubber washers at each hole but I was wondering what I can use to at the center of the place, directly below the CPU. Can I use thermal pads? Double sided tape? Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks.
