If you're upgrading.. Don't do it.. those E8400 are still pretty good.. besides a better GPU would show more performance increase in the games you listed.

If you're building a whole new PC.. then yes the 750 is the way to go, you can get yourself a good i5 system for less than $800..Although, if you look around you can build yourself a Core 2 system for almost half the cost, the buy/sell section in this forum, usually has very good deals by users. Actually you might be able to save yourself $$ by getting some of the necessary parts either way you go..

As I said though, brand spankin new!!.. i5 750 is your best bet..
