Well, looks like I have a few questions to answer

I would use 4870 or 4890. 5770 are inferior then 4870 in current game since dx11 is still some time from being mainstream. And you save extra money.
IMO the first jump from 4 series should be 5850, unless you really eye yourself on dx11 game.

I've used gigabyte 790x and 785gx recently, both are very stable in stock. Are you planning to OC?
I plan on playing games such as Crysis, Call of Duty, etc. Lots of FPS games, probably even some older adventure games like Dungeon Seige. :P But most likely games like Crysis/Warhead and Crysis 2 when it comes out. I'm also looking forward to DX11 titles.

Also I believe the 5770 is suppose to be as good as a 4870 but lose to the 4890.. I could be wrong though..
Thank you for the links. :)

I know that a 64 bit OS is required for more than 4 GB of RAM, don't worry. The only thing is that I was also considering using a 32 bit OS and 2 GB of RAM. I am not sure about compatibility with various programs with a 64 bit OS.

Why not the 750 I have selected?
