Test what features against the WD? IIRC its the same chipset, just a different interface. Really the only difference seems to be price ($50 bucks more), interface, no internal drive and no bit torrent.
Well do they support the same formats? I've seen a youtube video of the WD's interface, seemed pretty nice and straight forward. I'm just wondering which is the better choice. Regardless both are likely a good buy. I know it's hard to compare them without having both, but I'd love to here your pros/cons of the Patriot. An optional internal drive would be nice for these though.

Edit: It does have an optional drive, extra usb port, optional wireless, built in ethernet. Seems to have a lot more features than the WD.
