Default Help with asus P5KE wifi bios
questions!

Just installed a E6750 as an interim upgrade on an ASUS P5KE-wifi.

2 issues:

1. CPU is at 2ghz most of the time. Bios is 0503 so it should support the cpu. I phoned technical support to ask if it was a power management issue and how to disable it but he didnt seem to think so and suggested installing an earlier bios.

2. Vcore fluctuation. In ASUS probe it breaks the 10% mark, in cpuz it stays close to 1.16, default is 1.31. Again this looks like a power management feature.


Anyideas what bios is best for this board and if this is a power management issue? I need to find a good oc guide for this board and a good temp program for this cpu (coretemp perhaps is best? the asus software seems a bad idea)
