My side planel closed fine with all the wires behind it, but it took a lot of routing and electrical tape to get it that way, the first attempt to put the side panel on i barely used any tape and it would have went on, but it would have bent, so i routed all the wires and taped more off to get it just right.
it took quite a while but its more than doable :)
