I had one of those cases, they're great! Sold a build in it though. Still have the newer version, the TX1050b, and love it too! I removed the bottom harddrive cage like you, and removed the mount for it too, really cleaned up the look. There's just a few rivets that need to be drilled out from the front, then you're in business! Also, put another fan there?
