Then why use the OCed version for the 8800gts? You contradict yourself there.
I am not pointing fingers I am trying to get a better picture as the way I see it, compared to how my 8800gt performs OCed....the difference with the new card are either very small to non existant in most cases. I disagree that the stock 8800gt gives a good reference since the extra 100mhz core and bumped up shader speed makes for a substantial performance increase.
