Hi there folks,
I had recently switch my motherboard from a evga 780i (it died) to a Gigabyte EP45 UD3P and I hear that the ud3p would generally run cooler than my previous. Now the motherboard runs cooler that before, but for some strange reason, I am now idling my q9550 (at 3.8ghz) at 43C and LOADing at liek 65C (OCCT) (this is 1.35v vcore in BIOS) while when I had my old motherboard, I was idling at like 35c and LOADing at like 55C. Some people say that it takes a while for the thermal paste to liek reach its maximum cooling ability so Im sure hoping thats the reason (I just finished building it today) So, does anybody have any reasons or explanations for this???
Thanks in advance.
