I am still with CRT - I don't mind the weight - to me quality comes first. I can handle 40 kilograms - as long as I get decent picture and fast response - Because of how LCDs work to display a picture, lag will ALWAYS be an issue - as much as companies claim low response rate, they fake it by overdriving current and other sneaky sh*t - but if you look closely it's there - and as to input lag - maybe to some 40ns is not a big deal but have a game going side by side with a CRT and LCD and you will see there are very tight situations where extreme speed and aiming can make a difference between you getting the shot or not, like real life - Unless game companies start DETECTING old CRTs and simulate input lag This is one reason I'm sticking to CRT - I have yet to see ANY LCD, even the top of the line most expensive one give decent results - in fact the more expensive panels have better picture but higher input lag!

I think of it this way - I pay big money on a good systema nd gfx card not to have limits imposed by LCD (dithered 24bit, input lag, etc........)
