Nothing so strong as that, I think. It's a different situation than it is with Thermaltake or Innovatek, or even old-Koolance, where they were pushing garbage with fake science and schills.
The fact is, the Laing pumps DO work well. And half a year ago, their price was pretty good, even after you factored in the cost of a top. You could easily parallel it with this forum's tendency to blurt out "Corsair and PC Power & Cooling" every time someone asks for a PSU recommendation. Sure, there are other great units out there, but it's not like people are recommending anything bad.
