Scythe's fan controllers seem to all have low power-handling abilities. 1A/channel is pretty poor, and the photos make it painfully obvious that they couldn't be bothered to properly heatsink the device, nevermind the cramped 3.5" form-factor. I'd stay far away from those thing, honestly.
