Alright so the new fan is in(refer to previous post) and well Im not 100% satisfied. It will rotate up 3500rpm and yes it is loud. However it runs roughly at 43C at idle on an AMD Phenom @ OC'd to 3.8 ghz(100% stable)and max load it hits roughly between 55-58 under complete load. So Im debating about dropping this heat sink for something a little better. I am debating about modding this heatsink a little more. The problem is that the brick walls they used for the fin arrays causes the high RPM airflow to flow out of the side of the fan instead of going through the fins. Any ideas?
