Actually, I don't know around there but Here in Canada the Sapphire VaporX Toxic is priced in-line with many other HD4890 cards.

If you choose to go for a reference-based card, the cooler won't cause you any issues other than the fact that it gets a tad loud after a few minutes of gaming. Remember: the stock cooler is designed to keep the temperatures within the norms.
