It really helps to build your own. Now that the desktop is becomming the only thing you need with a good monitor to watch tv, films, listen to music, play games, work, phone, email etc its great to be able to save money and build something special instead of running into future shop etc.
Plus pushing combinations of components is addictive! Its a shame its not easier though to build a laptop.
