chances are that you both couldn't play the game at the same time. sharing the drive over the network should allow him to play but there is very little chance it would allow both of you to play at once. that would be like using the same CD key to play a game on multiple machines...not gonna happen.
there is the off chance that the game won't even play for him over the network.
either way, why are you asking...just try it :)
