First of all this is actually a SINGLE RAIL PSU. I have no diea what they say it has 3 distinct +12V rails but there are no OCP circuits to speak single rail it is.

We have to remember that clean power does not necessarily equal efficient. Take the Mushkin HP580 I reviewed; it is reasonably efficient but the output quality is quite "dirty" with higher-than-average ripple.

But I will have to agree with you to a certain extent because units with rock-solid rails (like this Corsair) will be MUCH easier to digest for the VRMs on graphics cards and whatnot.
