First of all this is actually a SINGLE RAIL PSU. I have no diea what they say it has 3 distinct +12V rails but there are no OCP circuits to speak of...so single rail it is.

We have to remember that clean power does not necessarily equal efficient. Take the Mushkin HP580 I reviewed; it is reasonably efficient but the output quality is quite "dirty" with higher-than-average ripple.

But I will have to agree with you to a certain extent because units with rock-solid rails (like this Corsair) will be MUCH easier to digest for the VRMs on graphics cards and whatnot.
