If I was you I'd get a Xigmatek S1283 or OCZ Vendetta 2, and get the "crossbow" backplate. The new version is dual 775 / i7 (one side is 775 the other i7, w/ holes for both 775 and i7 on the arms). Fairly cheap upgrade which will do you long into your i7 rebuild :)

If you want to go "whole hog" get the Xigmatek and TWO NF-P12s or Scythe E/Fs and ghetto mount the fans with zip ties ;)
