I have bought so many air coolers the last years (10+) that I've been building / oc'ing computers that I have lost track of the number...
But what I can say is that little cooler is the last air type I have bought, and is simply the best best bang-for-the-buck out there. As for the un-conventional harness location, I like it a lot. The extra lenght makes it easy to connect to the mobo, and the extra length can be attached to the fan shroud.
Unlike a Zalman cooler that had a very short (too short for my mobo) wire harness...
