My System Specs

I open up the case, turn off and install the PSU then plug it in. The PSU is grounded via the third prong on the cord. From then on I either am always touching a metal part of the case or I touch and ground myself everytime I take something out of a static bag or pick something up.

I've built hundreds of computers, and maybe had 5 or so DOA sticks of ram in that time. Never a dead CPU, HD, etc.

I'm guessing that those sticks of ram where just simply DOA. I have no logical reasoning that it was anything else.

All machines go thru a burn in period as well.
