That's for sure. My price range was extremely low for a TV greater than 32 inches. I actually prefer pictures on plasmas, but the plasmas in my price range were horrid looking, so I went LCD. If I had the extra $300, it would have gone towards a better plasma instead. It's a case by case basis imo.
