I just talked with a friend at NCIX and he talked with one of the techs who said it wouldn't interfere with performance.

Sorry but I can clearly see that the heat sink wouldn't and can not possibly do the job it is intended to do situated in such a way.

I don't build computers for a living... I wouldn't want that guy working on my system.

He might be thinking sure it would work installed like that but he does think the way we enthusiasts do.. In our minds everything has to be installed to operate the most efficiently as possible.

Lian Li should have their asses kicked for this screw up. With a case as large as this there is no reason why the motherboard has to be mounted that low.
