While an amp will probably (way to lazy to actually look at the stats)make it sound better, much like Bradan said, it's not worth it for the price range. Why pay roughly $100 for a cheap amp when your only paying $100 for your 'phones. I really don't recommend getting one unless your pushing out $200+ for a pair, and playing audio in a lossless format.
