On to my problem ... I'm planning to build a new rig just as soon as I can hammer out all the details. One of those details is a heat sink for an i7 920 processor. The case I have picked out is the Cooler Master RC-1100 Cosmos in which there is a height restriction of 145mm for heat sinks (and anything else I suppose).
I can't find anything that low at this time. I've looked at the
Thermaltake CL-P0508 V1 ... it's either 147 or 143mm high (depends where you look and who you ask) that's either a little too big or a very tight fit.
If anyone knows of a good quality low profile heat sink, I would very much appreciate your suggestions.
