So i'm getting an advance RMA through WD for my 640GB Caviar.
I'd like to backup everything that's on my current HD to my new one before i send the defective one with bad sectors back.
What is the best way to do this? Plug in the other HDD and format then proceed to copy/paste?
Or is there another way to directly transfer files right over? I need it to be exactly the same because of file allocations and paths.
