Depends on alot of factors.


Here's a demo towards the ridiculous end of the scale:

They RAID0ed a bunch of MTron SSDs. Let's just say they copied a 1GB file in 4 seconds.


If you use the proper hardware (meaning no crappy*onboard RAID) and fast drives, it should scale pretty well.

*Intel Onboard isn't bad, but I'd still go with a RAID card.
