Excellent review as always. Thank you for including the Folding comparisons, its interesting how much lower power consumption is when Folding as opposed to in-game. You said the "acoustical footprint was noticeably quieter" than the 65nm, how would it compare to the 9800GTX+ as I like cards that are fairly quiet.
A couple of things; you might want to indicate that only one core of the 4870X2 was used in the Folding power consumption chart for those that aren't aware of its limitations. And you might want to check the titles of your game power consumption charts [cosumption?]
