I found it a pain to image a machine and ghostcast it on to other machine with the Boinc installed. I found that even if the machine had been configured and updates downloaded it still needed to re-downloaded and re-joined to the project. It will work for individual PC's if you have a image with the Boinc setup for each computer but because of the mac address and PC name being used to identify you PC...so in my experience that confuses Boinc.

In the end I just installed it on each PC and left it at that.

However today I was playing with my group policy object editor and using a log in script that will copy the Boinc folders over to the right areas it seems to work without needing any system center install however I am having issues still with downloaded work Units and having each computer work on there own individual tasks. I don't know its really a work in progress..I know there are a few tools available for boinc on large networks..but I have not explored those yet. Maybe I will try that instead.
