I recently ordered a pair of M-Audio Studiophile Q40's from
Revolution Audio Canada - Online Sales - M-Audio Studiophile Q40 . They should be arriving on friday. But they do seem like a very good quality headset according to
M-Audio Q40 Impressions (long w/pics) - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio . I don't know if you have an amplifier to drive them or not. But if you are interested when I receive the phones I can report how they sound with/without an amp.
I also ordered the Zalman ZM-MIC which can be had for under $5 @ Bestdirect.
